EU Spokesman Peter Stano has confirmed the information about the EU special envoy for the dialogue, Miroslav Lajcak, visiting Pristina and Belgrade during this week.
According to a report of Koha.net, Lajcak is to visit Pristina on May 11 and Belgrade on May 12.
„The EU's special representative for the dialogue regularly travels to the region and visits Pristina and Belgrade often, especially after the high-level meetings in Brussels, in order to monitor and continue what has been decided or agreed in Brussels, and prepare the next steps and meetings,“ Stano said.
Lajcak is expected to meet with the leaders of Serbia and Kosovo, as well as with the chief negotiators, considering that work is under way on preparing a meeting of negotiation teams’ chiefs. Lajcak’s visit is taking place after the May 2 meeting at the top political level in Brussels.
