In a Vicious Cycle

Serbian national team selector Dragan Stojkovic has found himself in the limelight these past several days after the team’s failure in the European Championship in Germany. Stojkovic, one of the Socialist Yugoslavia’s biggest football stars, is refusing to resign despite large public pressure to do so. Whether Stojkovic stays or leaves depends, evidently, on one man – Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic.
