In local elections in Bosnia and Herzegovina on Oct. 6, Banjaluka Mayor Drasko Stanivukovic won a re-election in Republika Srpska’s largest city. Stanivukovic, a candidate of the opposition Party of Democratic Progress, was not backed by the other opposition parties and won owing to a part of Milorad Dodik’s ruling Alliance of Independent Social Democrats.
