Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic has stated that the EU-mediated technical dialog between Belgrade and Pristina would resume on Dec. 10, focusing on the topics of property and financial liabilities.

Late on Dec. 3, Vucic told the Serbian Broadcasting Corporation that Miroslav Lajcak, the European Union's special representative to the Belgrade-Pristina dialog, had given an excellent description of the normalization talks when he called them a "long and winding road."

Vucic said Belgrade's stance on resolving the Kosovo issue remained unchanged, but that "tactically speaking" he would see how he could "move certain things to secure a more favorable position" for Serbia.

"It's not possible for us to accept certain important solutions until they implement the agreement on the Community of Serb Municipalities," Vucic said.
