U.S. investment group Goldman Sachs is considering investing in Serbia for the first time, the heads of the group have told Serbian Prime Minister Ana Brnabic at a meeting in New York, Serbian state TV RTS reported on July 21.
Brnabic, who wrapped up her two-day visit to the U.S., said that "they do not come just like that" and "are not present anywhere in the region."
She further said that she believed the investment group had indicated the possibility of a "small joint project, for them to see that what we are saying is true."
Earlier, after a meeting with representatives of IT Companies, Brnabic announced investments by three funds in Serbia and jobs for 120 workers.
