Kosovo Premier Albin Kurti has said he is ready to discuss formation of the Association/Community of Serb Municipalities and the rights of the Serbs in Kosovo but not as a precondition for the dialogue, but within the German-French dialogue proposal on normalization of relations between Belgrade and Pristina.

In an interview with German daily Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung (FAZ), Kurti said that 33 agreements had been reached in Brussels over the past ten, of which two thirds had not been implemented by Serbia.

“I am acknowledging the existence of 33 agreements and I am ready to take them all into consideration once official talks are launched in Brussels on normalization of relations based on the German-French proposal. Serbia wants to single out one agreement while ignoring the other 32 and also the German-French plan. I will not be taking part in that,” Kurti stressed.

The Kosovo premier further said he had not been going to Brussels to have talks on the police, prosecutors, customs officers, or the cadaster, but to “as representatives of two countries talk about normalization of their relations.”

“I have been going to Brussels to sign a comprehensive agreement. Mister (Josep) Borrell was insisting we signed only a statement on license plates and present it as a great achievement. It was the biggest disagreement we have had,” Kurti noted.
