Chief negotiators of Belgrade and Pristina are to meet for a new round of talks in Brussels on July 2.
The EU special representative for the Belgrade-Pristina dialogue, Miiroslav Lajcak, has said that he will organize a meeting of the two chief negotiators to elaborate on concrete steps for unblocking the Agreement on the path to normalization between Kosovo and Serbia.
Lajcak recalled that he and the EU high representative for foreign and security policy, Josep Borrell, had hosted Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic and Kosovo Premier Albin Kurti in Brussels last week as part of the Belgrade-Pristina dialogue.
“Unfortunately, we have seen no progress in implementing the Agreement on the path to normalization between Kosovo and Serbia. Discussions were challenging as ever. However, our work will continue on July 2 when I will convene the two chief negotiators to elaborate on concrete septs to unblock the implementation of the Agreement,” Lajcak said.
