Information Minister, French Ambassador Discuss Two Countries’ Cooperation

Serbian Minister for Information and Telecommunication, Dejan Ristic, had talks in Belgrade on Sept. 12 with the French ambassador to Serbia, Pierre Cochard, about cooperation between Serbia and France in the field of information and telecommunication, especially in the domain of digital transformation of traditional industries.

The concurred that special attention in the forthcoming period would be directed toward an additional advancement of cooperation in the field of telecommunication and implementation of artificial intelligence, to accomplish even more impressive results, stated the relevant ministry.

Ristic informed the ambassador about the results Serbia was accomplishing in the field of telecommunication, and about the work of the research and development center for artificial intelligence in Novi Sad. He also informed Cochard about several important projects the realization of which is under way, and about intensive activities initiated by the Ministry with the aim of advancement and development of the sector of public information, the statement reads.
