New Democratic Party of Serbia Vice-President Dejan Sulkic said on Jan. 22 that the regime "must agree" to the forming of an interim government "or go."
Sulkic told Nova S TV that the only Serbian parliament session that would make sense would be one where Prime Minister Milos Vucevic resigned, after which negotiations on the forming of a transitional cabinet would begin.
Asked about the appearance of banners in Belgrade depicting a red painted hand giving the middle finger, which is a symbol first posted by Kraljevo Mayor and Serbian Progressive Party official Predrag Terzic online, Sulkic said that it was "a message to all citizens of Serbia, including Serbian Progressive Party voters."
"They couldn't resist doing something like that. This move will be studied for a long time, it is the pinnacle of this regime," said Sulkic.
