Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti’s Self-Determination Movement won the most votes in Kosovo’s Feb. 9 parliamentary election, the Central Electoral Commission in Pristina announced on Feb. 10.
According to the press release, Kurti’s party garnered 41.14 percent of votes, followed by the Democratic Party of Kosovo, with 22.99 percent of votes, and the Democratic League of Kosovo as second runner-up, with 17.68 ballots won.
The coalition between the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo and the Social Democratic Initiative came in next, having garnered the support of 7.65 percent of voters, while the Serb List took 4.05 percent of votes.
The published results are based on 88.59 percent of ballots counted, leaving it still uncertain whether the Self-Determination Movement will be able to form the next coalition government.
