The ANEM Association of Independent Electronic Media asked in a statement on Feb. 18 for the arrest of the unidentified person who sent threats to Lazar Dinic and Ivan Bjelic, reporters of the Revolt website.
Using an Instagram account, an unidentified individual sent a threat to the journalist Lazar Dinic of an attack on his life and person and sent threats to the journalist Ivan Bjelic too, using obscene language and calling both journalists Ustashi, ANEM said. The attorney Veljko Mitrovic filed a report with the Prosecutor's Office for High Technology Crime, which reads that the threats constitute the crime of jeopardizing safety.
"These threats were sent after the reporters shared a post by the Revolt media outlet stating that a certain Djordje Hrnjak was one of the attackers on students and the reporter Zarko Bogosavljevic in front of the Serbian National Theater in Novi Sad on Feb. 16, of which both the Higher and the Basic Public Prosecutor's Office in Novi Sad have been informed," ANEM said.
