Bosnia and Herzegovina is in the last place in Europe where consumption per capita in 2019 is concerned, according to Eurostat.

The statistical authority has published data related to two parameters – GDP and data for actual individual consumption (AIC), the web portal Klix reports.

According to the data, the AIC in Bosnia and Herzegovina is 59% below the EU average.

The Eurostat analysis shows that the AIC in the country has been stagnant for three years now, given that the data for 2017, 2018 and 2019 are identical.

The situation is no better as far as GDP is concerned, either.

According to Eurostat data, in that category too Bosnia and Herzegovina is at the very bottom in Europe.

In 2019, the country’s GDP was at 32% of the European average, which is a result identical to the one in 2018 and 1% better than in 2017.
