A recent election for the national council of the Bosniak minority in Serbia has produced no new power shift among the leading political parties in Sandzak, a region in the southwest of Serbia where Bosniaks make up the majority of people. The vote has confirmed that the three largest Bosniak parties, led by Rasim Ljajic, Usame Zukorlic and Sulejman Ugljanin, have a similar share in the voter support, none of them close to the absolute majority.
