Last week’s visit by Serbian Foreign Minister Ivica Dacic to Zagreb, after Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said that he wanted relations with Croatia to be “thawed,” is a minimal step forward in relations between the two countries which could easily be undone. Given similar steps earlier, which turned out to be a lull between two tensions, no real improvement in relations should be expected now either, all the more because both sides are sticking to their well-known, opposite positions.
