Two Worlds

The sharp division of Serbia into two poles was obvious on Feb. 8 like it had rarely been in the past. While representatives of the regime and the media outlets and analysts close to it focused on President Aleksandar Vucic's speech at the U.N. Security Council session on Kosovo, for the pro-European opposition and its supporters the main topic was the European Parliament's resolution on the situation in Serbia after the December elections. The gap between the two sides now seems even wider than before Feb. 8.
