Serbian Progressive Party in the campaign (BetaPhoto/Emil Vas)
The ruling Serbian Progressive Party has decided not to form the city government in Belgrade with two “defectors” from the We – The Voice of the People movement, which is why new snap elections for the Belgrade Assembly will be held. The exact date of the elections is unknown for the time being, but if the opposition runs in them, they will certainly be a referendum of sorts for or against Aleksandar Vucic, the leader of the ruling coalition.
