Last week’s presidential and parliamentary elections in North Macedonia confirm that the country has changed its direction towards the Right, after a large number of people supported the nationalistic opposition VMRO-DPMNE party. The party, which is led by Hristijan Mickoski, has announced a shift in its foreign policy orientation and won the election owing to its hardcore nationalistic stances and rejection of the country’s agreements with foreign factors, particularly with Greece on its name, but Bulgaria as well.
