A Document with an Economic and Geopolitical Dimension

Last week, Serbia signed an agreement with the U.S. on strategic cooperation in the area of energy, which is supposed to foster U.S. corporate investment in the Serbian energy sector. In addition to having an economic dimension, the agreement, the first of its kind on strategic cooperation between Serbia and the U.S., has a geopolitical dimension, given that it is geared toward bringing Serbia closer to the West.
