The latest European Commission annual report on Serbia has confirmed what is well known – that the country is making little progress on its European path. Although the report’s authors mostly refrain from voicing any direct and harsh criticism, using the diplomatic vocabulary, the document shows that Serbia’s progress on the road to EU membership was very modest last year, possibly the most modest so far. What is particularly noticeable is the fact that no progress was made in a record nine chapters.
