A July 16 meeting in Brussels between Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic and Kosovo Prime Minister Avdullah Hoti failed to bring any essential progress in the normalization of relations between Belgrade and Pristina, but it is very important that after 20 months the two parties are back at the negotiating table. Judging by statements after the talks, the focus was on economic and other issues of importance for the Kosovo-Serbia relations, including the fate of missing persons. Brussels, on the other hand, has every reason for satisfaction, as it is once again playing the leading role in resolving the Kosovo crisis.
