The arrests of members of a criminal group gathered around the leaders of football club Partizan’s fans have opened a whole host of criminal affairs reaching to the highest circles of the regime and to businesspeople close to them, but are highly unlikely to cause political damage to Aleksandar Vucic and his Serbian Progressive Party. Vucic’s political rivals have neither the strength, nor sufficient information, nor readiness to utilize the affairs coming up one after the other to politically compromise the ruling party and its leader.
