Belgrade and Pristina’s chief negotiators, Petar Petkovic and Besnik Bislimi, adopted in Brussels, on June 21, a road map for the implementation of the energy agreement reached in the talks between the two parties mediated by the European Union (EU). It’s the first Belgrade-Pristina deal since Miroslav Lajcak was appointed the Union’s special envoy for the dialogue in April 2020. It leaves room for dispute though over unpaid electricity bills and a transmission substation in the northern Kosovo village of Valac.
