Serbian Opposition’s Arguments To Boycott Next Vote Despite Recommendations from Brussels and Washington

The Serbian opposition parties which have decided to boycott the next parliamentary elections, planned for the spring of 2020, rely on the evaluation that at least one million voters in Serbia have extremely negative opinion of President Aleksandar Vucic. According to opposition parties, the polls they have seen show that the majority of those voters believe that under the current conditions they should not go to the polls as it would only give legitimacy to the authorities and Vucic.
