Aleksandar Vucic

The U.S. New York Times published a correction on June 24 saying that Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic's meeting at the White House on June 27 would be with the U.S. President's special envoy for Serbia-Kosovo talks, Richard Grenell, and not President Donald Trump.

In a story about Serbia's elections published on June 23 the newspaper reported that the Serbian president was scheduled to meet President Trump and his envoy to the Balkans, Richard Grenell, on June 27.

Vucic said on June 23 that he didn't expect to meet the U.S. President at the White House.

"The NYT is forced to correct basic information about their Kosovo-Serbia story, and then they get my title wrong in the Correction. I am not surprised, because they wrote but never spoke to me," Grenell tweeted on June 24.
