Vucic, Selakovic Express Condolences to Austria over Vienna Attack

President Aleksandar Vucic on Nov. 3 expressed condolences to the Austrian leadership over the Nov. 2 terrorist attack in Vienna.

Vucic has written on his Twitter: “Deeply shaken by the horrifying terror attack in Vienna. My deepest condolences to the families of the innocent victims and citizens of Austria. Rest assured, dear friends, (Alexander) Van der Bellen and Sebastian Kurz, that Serbia stands firm by your country in these challenging times.”

Foreign Minister Nikola Selakovic on Nov. 3 has expressed condolences to the citizens of Austria and his Austrian counterpart, Alexander Schallenberg, over terror attack in Vienna, according to a statement from the Serbian Foreign Ministry.

Selakovic underlined the importance of solidarity in dealing with common challenges. “Terrorism is one of the main international challenges and that is why we must fight against that evil together,” Selakovic said.
