Serbian Defense Minister Aleksandar Vulin said on Dec. 25 that the establishing of a joint border crossing Miratovac-Lojane between Serbia and North Macedonia will facilitate the movement of people and the flow of goods and vehicles between the two countries.

He urged the MPs to vote in favor of the agreement.

Speaking about relations between the Balkan countries and the “Small Schengen,” Vulin added that whenever the Balkan states made decisions on their relations themselves they lived in peace, but when the others began deciding, there were wars.

“When they [the others] decided on us, we waged wars for their interests, we lost lives because of clashes and discord between the Great Powers which have managed to take our water, our air, and our land, and couldn’t care less for us who live here. This is how it used to be, this is how it is today,” Vulin said.
