Average Net Salary in Serbia in February RSD58,132

The average gross salary in Serbia, calculated in February, totaled RSD80,288, while the net sum – without taxes and contributions – amounted to RSD58,132, the Serbian Statistical Office said on April 27.

The growth of net salaries in January and February, relative to the same period last year, was 10.4% in nominal and 8.2% in real terms. At the same time, the gross salary went up 10.5% in nominal and 8.3% in real terms.

Compared to the same month last year, the average gross salary for February 2020 was 11% higher in nominal and 8.8% in real terms.

The median net salary for February 2020 totaled RSD45,106, meaning that 50% of employees earned up to that amount, said the Statistical Office.
