Far-right Serbian Party Oath Keepers leader Milica Djurdjevic Stamenkovski, minister of family care and demography, found herself facing fierce criticism from the opposition public for saying that accounts of obstetric violence and poor conditions in maternity wards “are part of a global agenda against children being born in Serbia.” As expected, Djurdjevic Stamenkovski was supported by the Serbian Progressive Party’s leadership, which always looks after its own in such situations.
