The appointment of Milena Tabakovic at the helm of the Public Health Institute of Vojvodina has sparked rumors and strong reactions by the opposition. The Vojvodina government appointed Tabakovic to the leading post in the Institute on Aug. 28, just eight days after the Institute had confirmed the presence of roundworms in Novi Sad’s drinking water.
