Miroslav Lajcak, the European Union'sspecial representative to the Belgrade-Pristina dialog, said in Belgrade, on Oct. 15 that every pledge made in the course of the negotiations between the two sides must be fulfilled, and that there must be no unresolved issues when the process ends.

Lajcak told a joint news conference after meeting with Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic that the takeaway from two-day talks he had in Pristina was that everything undertaken must be met, including the creation of the Community of Serb Municipalities.

Regarding the Community, it's all signed and needs to be carried out. The next step is to negotiate the status of the Community of Serb Municipalities and those negotiations will be conducted in Brussels, Lajcak said.

Vucic said he had expressed Belgrade's full commitment to continuing the dialog with Pristina in his meeting with Lajcak, but that he had insisted on the full implementation of the 2013 Brussels Agreement and the formation of the Community of Serb Municipalities.

Vucic announced that delegations from Belgrade would go to Brussels to continue the talks "both at the technical and at the highest level." He said a European future was "very important" to Serbia, both for the greater number of investments and for the values he said Serbia fought for and advocated.
