An exhibition called The Year of Indomitability where BETA photographer Amir Hamzagic will display his work, will open in Belgrade on Feb. 24, on the anniversary of the start of the war in Ukraine.

Hamzagic's photos, which were made during a working viist to Ukraine along with a group of Serbian journalists in September last year, will be on display until March 3.

The exhibition will be attended by the ambassadors of Ukraine and the European Union Volodymyr Tolkach and Emanuele Giaufret, respectively. Photos from Ukraine's Ministry of Foreign Affairs will be exhibited as well.

During the exhibition a panel discussion on the Russian-Ukrainian war will be held, the Ukrainian embassy has announced. Ambassador Tolkach told BETA that the objective of the events that will be held in Belgrade to mark the anniversary was not a desire to speak against others, but for people to pay attention to Ukraine and pay their tributes to those who died in the war.
