Osmani: Roadmap Deal Should Include Kosovo’s Border Inviolability Demands

Kosovo President Vjosa Osmani asked in a March 6 meeting with the ambassadors of the U.S., UK and European Union that the roadmap for the implementation of the agreement on normalization of relations between Belgrade and Pristina take into account the stance of the Kosovo Assembly on the "inviolability of borders, sovereignty, territorial integrity, constitutionality and functionality of the state of Kosovo."


The officials also discussed recent events in Kosovo, the dialogue with Belgrade, next steps and ongoing coordination between Kosovo institutions and allies, read a press release issued by the Kosovo president's office.

Osmani also stressed that Kosovo continued to be the constructive side in the dialogue with Serbia, committed to the process and contributing to peace, security and sustainable prosperity in the region.

Miroslav Lajcak, the European Union's special envoy to the Belgrade-Pristina dialogue, is slated to visit Kosovo on March 10 and meet with government officials and opposition leaders, the Pristina website Koha.net reported citing EU sources
