Last week’s round of the Brussels dialogue, the first with a meeting of the two leaders since May 2, has failed to bring any progress in the process of normalizing Belgrade – Pristina relations. The main reason for the failure was Kosovo Premier Albin Kurti’s refusal to start the forming of a Community of Serb Municipalities, motivated by his desire not to lose voters, i.e. power. Kurti’s hardline stance suits Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic, who is leaving the impression of the more constructive party.
Outcome as Expected
