“Miketic Case” as Central Point of Campaign

One of the more prominent opposition politicians in Serbia, MP Djordje Miketic, became the central point of the election campaign after a video of him having sex with an unidentified woman quickly spread online. This is so far the “dirtiest” way of discrediting an opponent of the Vucic regime, the consequences of which are not easy to predict at this time. The explicit video has already served the regime to draw attention away from some important topics and at the moment it does not seem like it could have any significant impact on election results, but it may still be too early to make that assessment.
