The Serbian budget for 2021, which the parliament adopted on Dec. 10, is optimistic and contains no indication that the following year could be full of uncertainty due to the coronavirus pandemic. The government optimistically expects that Serbia, just like it will see the smallest decrease in the gross domestic product (GDP) in Europe this year, of about one percent, will next year experience the biggest growth of six percent thanks to an expected rise in demand resulting from a raise of salaries in the public sector and pensions, as well as from increased capital investment.
