Several hundred citizens gathered at a rightist protest rally in downtown Belgrade on Feb. 15, Serbian Statehood Day, to express their opposition to accepting the EU Proposal on normalisation of relations between Kosovo and Serbia, also known as the Franco-German plan. The rally, organized by minor right-wing groups, was marked by threats voiced against the state leadership and a few arrests, while Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic benefited the most from that course of events.
