A month ahead of parliamentary, provincial and local elections in 65 cities and municipalities, including Belgrade, ruling coalition leader Aleksandar Vucic is trying to secure every possible vote that he can for the Serbian Progressive Party, but also choke support for other tickets and is employing different tactics for this. The pressure on Vucic has additionally been raised by numerous public figures, who launched a political initiative called ProGlas (ProVote), but also by mass farmers’ protests.
