Goran Trivan, a former minister of environment and a member of the Socialist Party of Serbia’s presidency, recently attracted attention for criticizing his party’s relationship with its coalition partner, the Aleksandar Vucic-led Serbian Progressive Party. Trivan said that Socialist party leader Ivica Dacic needed to explain why the Socialists had abandoned the principle of always having their own presidential candidate.
