Epidemiologist and Crisis Headquarters member Branislav Tiodorovic (Beta/Serbian government/Slobodan Miljevic)

Epidemiologist Branislav Tiodorovic has said that a fourth dose of the vaccine against the coronavirus will probably be recommended in the spring.

Tiodorovic told the Nov. 18 edition of Blic that vaccination against the coronavirus could be performed twice a year in the future.

"The delta plus variant is taking hold in Europe and having negative effects, the number of infected is rising, and we have examples where countries that were relatively calm, like Holland and Denmark, are seeing an increase in cases. Germans also have a problem," he said.

Tiodorovic said that the medical part of the Crisis Headquarters still favored 24 hour covid passes and that it would insist on that. He added that introducing the passes had had an effect on the 30 to 40 age group and that this was evident in information on vaccination.
