At a reception he held on Aug. 8 for a group of 100 students and high school pupils who are to travel to China on a study trip, Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic told them that they would see many things in that country’s cities, factories and companies, adding that they would remember it all their lives, and wished that they used that knowledge to participate in creating a better Serbia.
Vucic dedicated a part of his address to the political and economic relations with China, underscoring that this country was a friend of Serbia, which will never forget how much China helped, while Chinese Ambassador Li Ming underscored Vucic’s contribution to the two countries’ “friendship of steel.”
Speaking about what they can expect in China, Vucic said that young people have heard a lot about everything in existence coming from the West, while now they would learn about the onset of civilization and also about the rate at which this country, as well as entire Asia, was developing. The Chinese ambassador recollected that the agreement on this study trip, which will include 300 young people, was agreed on during the recent visit of Chinese President Xi Jinping to Serbia.
