In the morning on Nov. 8, Belgrade was the 20th most polluted city in the world, with air quality rated as unhealthy for sensitive groups, according to the IQAir website.
The air pollution index at 7:15 a.m. was 119 and hovered between 100 and 150 during the morning.
According to city website Beoeko, the quality of air in the capital of Serbia is acceptable, with a slightly increased presence of PM2.5 and PM10.
The world's most polluted city this past morning was Delhi, India, with a pollution index of 202, followed by Lahore and Karachi in Pakistan, Mumbai and Kolkata in India, and Astana in Kazakhstan with a pollution index between 160 and 180.
