Prime Minister of North Macedonia Hristijan Mickoski stated on Feb. 12 that he expected inflation to stabilize below three percent this year and that his government had “finally consolidated the situation in the country.”
“This year, I expect us to stabilize below three percent in annual inflation. I anticipate negative monthly trends, i.e. a drop compared to last year,” Mickoski told reporters.
North Macedonia’s PM said that his government, sworn in on June 24, 2024, had so far been working on consolidating the situation in the state, and assessed that it had succeeded.
“From a chaotic situation, collapsed institutions, destroyed system, we have come to a situation when we can say that we are finally consolidated. We should now develop Macedonia in the way that all citizens want,” stated Mickoski.
