The regime of Aleksandar Vucic has transferred two Belgrade police inspectors who uncovered a marijuana plantation on the Jovanjica farm to posts outside of the narcotics division. This move by the authorities is not just a reprisal against the inspectors who discovered a link between criminals and state institutions, but is also additional pressure on them prior to upcoming testimonies in court and an attempt to stop further investigation. This is also a message to others as to what they face if they confront the authorities.
